i have just bought a japanese maple tree about 2ft tall in a pot and want to put it in a bigger pot.. what is the best compost to use?

Hi VILLAN, They grow best on the acid side of nuetral on the PH scale. Use equal parts John Innes No 2 potting compost mixed with an ericaceous compost.
Place some crocks in the bottom of the pot to help with drainage and a mulch on top of bark chips or gravel to retain moisture. Good Luck Tbird+
