New neighbours have just moved in opposite. We share a back fence and a large trampoline has been erected as close to the fence as you can get.
It measures approx 6 ft long and the poles supporting the netting protrude 2 ft above the fence.
The tramopline is directly in line with my kitchen window so our privacy is affected as well as the noise by the users,
I spend a lot of time in my garden and enjoyed the peace I used have.
Have I a right to complain.
surely one of u owns that fence outright, never heard of sharing. be nice and polite as shouting and ranting alienate them. ask them to spend 10 mins in your gdn and listen to it, as they probably dont realise how much noise they are makin
I had exactly this problem too. Couldn't do anything about the noise (but then in summer if it's not kids playing it's people mowing!) but about halfway down the garden I fitted a trellis, and gre climbing plants on it to give me a bit of privacy.
I would say put a bigger fence up and then trellis, the whole trampoline thing will probably go out of fashion anyway at some point. However, they are kids and have to be allowed to be kids. I see both sides of the coin here.
