Outhouse adjacent to my home
3 Answers
i have an outhouse adjacent to my home, which both are my property. i am attached to several other terraced houses. All other residents also have outhouses, which are all attached to each other and mine and are in agreement to knock the outhouses down as this would create parking for the residents. Would this decrease any value on my house?

An outside outdated unusable bog or off road parking for your car?
If your the only one not converting I can't imagine it decreasing your value just increase every one elses, and make yours less desirable than other houses on your street which go on the market (even though they will value theirs higher after they've put in the car parks, people may be tempted by lower car insurances due to the off road parking).

We've got planning permission to knock down our outhouse and coal shed which are joined to each other in our back yard and turn them into an extension, albeit a long thing one. It will have a downstairs inside loo, the washing machine and somewhere to hang coats, put trainers etc. Hopefully a nice big storage cupboard aswell.
