baders digging up my lawn

PLEASE help my lawn looks like it has had a rugby game played on it the badgers are digging it up every night any ideas how to stop them Thanks

Hi, sorry I don't have a solution for you. I'd just be chuffed to bits that I had badgers in my garden!!! They must be amazing to watch!

sounds ideal doesn't it? but we don't see them as they come during the night and unfortunatly the mess they have made means our garden is not suitable for our young children to play in as they have used the holes they have dug as toilets !!

My old neighbours had the same problem in their front garden. They bought some very fine green plastic mesh wire and pinned it across their grass, covering the whole area. It made it difficult for the badgers to dig, but still let the grass grow through, and was invisible-ish as it was green. They also bought a super strong garden light, that was motion sensitive, so every time the badgers came along the light would go on and scare them. Eventually they gave up and moved on.(badgers, not neighbours).
