indisit washing machine

i have got a indisit washing machine and on start of wash it takes on water and then wont spin what do you think is wrong with it

I think it's broken...


... you may need to replace or tighten the drum drive belt

if the motor makes a noise but the drum doesn't turn then check the belt that joins the drum & motor. unplug it before doing this:- there is normally a plate / cover on the rear of the machine that gives you access
if there is no sound of the motor spinning there are various reasons that could cause it and require someone with more knowledge of w/m 's to look at it. a DIYer who is competent should be able to help.
