What is the best way to clean a mattress. It has sweat stains on it and is a bit smelly!

Hi Billi - I have used a stain remover called Simple Solution Stain and Odor Remover. I got it from ebay and it's amazing. I used to use it to remove vomit when my little boy was a baby and you know how hard that is to remove - it removes blood, urine, vomit, faeces, grass etc - it's not too expensive and it has no smell so doesn't just cover up a stain. You might need to use it several times to remove stains that have been there a while but it's worth it. Also probably be worth just standing your mattress on an old sheet outside for a day when it's sunny to give it a good airing - that always works! Good luck

I see that Oceana UK has already given you my suggestion: 'Simple Solution Stain & Odor Remover' is, as stated, great for shifting any organic odours.

I'll just add that you don't need to hunt for it on eBay; your local branch of Pets at Home will stock it.
