Undercoat or gloss

I am painting a dark blue door white. I have put one coat of undercoat on but the blue is still showing through. Should I go for another layer of undercoat and then a gloss or just take my chances and see if it needs to layers of gloss. It probably makes no difference, huh?

I think either way will be ok, personally I would give it another coat of undercoat.
