I have just read a disturbing article in the weekly dog paper regarding conservatories and the dangers of leaving animals in there during the summer, which I thought worth highlighting on here. It reads that how many of us would imagine the potential danger of leaving dogs in conservatories, but someone had seen a lampshade melted and worst of all a TV the heat was so great. This just highlights the dangers of leaving animals in there during the day where they would be at the mercy of the soaring temperatures enough to make them frazzle and the potential catastrophic outcome.

Hi Jules hope you and the girls are OK, yes i agree with this article, i would imagine it to be similar to the heat in a car, James read last week not to let dog's sunbathe.
They can get skin cancer, it was recommended that you apply a sun block to the dog's skin.
Burt like's the sun but i am constantly trying to shade him, Jules my son-in-law is going to get the pics of the girls up for me, so for now give Tilly and Tara a big hug of me and burty, enjoy the weekend lots of love , christine & burt. xxxxxx
