Hi,
I am looking for some insperation. I have been set the task of decorating a room for my god daughter and her brother to be. The girl is18 months old, and her baby brother is due in two weeks. I want the room to be different, maybe a murial or just patterned.vThe room is quite a large blank canvas. It needs to be practical, not something that they are going to grow out of in 6 months or a year. Sutiable for both boys and girls. I would also like it not too difficult to paint, as I am quite arty, as long as i have good pics to copy.
Any one got any ideas for me??
If anyone has any photos of things they have done that they want to email me i would be grateful!

What about a seaside type theme, with blue ceiling and sandy carpet, the walls painted depending on your artistic ability. there are loads of sailing type accessories and I saw one of those makeover programmes where they made a bed look like half a boat.

What about a circus theme - the boys side could feature more jugglers and elephants etc while the girls could have trapeze artists and acrobats - I did a farm for my boys when they were babies, I just bought a book with good illustrations and copied them on to the walls after painting it with green hills etc and a blue sky - maybe more of a boy thing though.
