Hi mackdigger, Above all the most important requirement for this South American climber is a sunny aspect, a south facing wall with horizontal wires to train it on would be ideal.
It will do well in a moisture retentive soil, a deep mulch of garden compost or leaf mould aruond the roots will help this, apply it in the autumn and again in the spring.
A well ballanced fertilizer such as a rose fertilizer given in spring should also help. Good Luck. Tbird+
Hi well I'm really odd then!! My passionflower is in a pot growing up tellis on a north facing wall!!! - I think the main thing is give it lots of water and the occasional bit of tomato food - thats all mine gets and its covered this year!
