I live in a bungalow
The north facing roof has mold on it. I remove it by pressure washing it but does any one know of any thing I can apply to the roof to stop or slow down the growth of the mold

I recenly heard of someone who had the roof tiles/moss pressure washed followed by a waterproof terracota coloured coating with a ten year warranty.....So it must not be an uncommon treatment I reckon.

Mix 1 part bleach to 3 parts water and apply to the mildew-covered area with a hand pump sprayer. Adding some tri-sodium phosphate (TSP) will help clean the roof at the same time.
