Oak Flooring

Does anyone know whether scratches in Oak flooring can be removed?

We cant really afford to sand the floor down and have it revarnished, so was wondering whether it is possible to get rid of them easily

If the scratches are through to the bare wood, you can try rubbing over them with a matching Black Friars wood stain then quickly wipe off the surplus stain, leave to dry for a few minutes and then buff-up with furniture polish and a soft cloth.
