Hard Wire Install of Smoke Dectors

What is the average time to install and cost of this type of job, for three hardwire smoke detectors in a 1400sq. ft. home here in California USA I have just had the house rewired so I assume all boxes are fine. Thanks

This cannot, in my opinion, be answered meaningfully without more information such as whether the three are to be linked or simply individually mains powered. Also, everything depends on the ease of finding/creating wire runs (dependent on ceiling/floor and wall construction. any pre-existing conduits with spare capacity, etc. etc.) to the chosen installation locations. In the very easiest cases it might be done in 2-4 hours on site but this can only be a guess for your question and could go up to two days or, just possibly, more in extreme cases (hidden cables in concrete construction).
