does anyone have the box for "Oust scale away"?
I have a sachet left but no longer have the instructions. I can't remember if I put in in boiled water or boil it with the water etc.

Whatever it is, it will be some form of acid. Since whaever acid it is is more agressive at higher temperatures, do as the above. It will remove the scale quicker.

save your money next time & use white vinegar. needs to be rinsed a few times afterwards to get rid of the smell but works very well, in fact just as well as Oust scale away.

Visit Tesco and read the instructions on the box.

Try placing some bone buttons in the kettle. When it boils they rattle around keeping the scale from forming!
