Just having one installed. It's the type with a half bowl and removable strainer which is next to the main sink.
We are having a waste disposal unit fitted, the problem is should the waste disposal be fitted to the main sink or to the half bowl?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Most waste disposal units can only be fitted to the large diameter hole (about 100mm) which will be in the half-bowl. The drain hole in the main sink will be too small. Cheers, Andy

Thanks for your prompt reply.

The leisure sink we have just bought has holes of the same size , hence the confusion.

Also, since the half-bowl isn't as deep as the main sink, the waste disposal unit will be higher up, leaving more space for storing stuff.

Thanks for your replies.

We have installed it in the half bowl , which now makes sense and hopefully will make life easier for the wife when she washes up.
