wasps in the loft
15 Answers
I have wasps flying in ant out of my loft space, there is no access to the loft space as it is over an extension. If I fill in the hole in the eaves that they are using, is that a good idea or a bad idea?

(I only needed to use 1) She told me to wait until the evening before using it as the wasps will be out during the day and come home about 19:00. Choose a dry calm day when the wasps will not be stuck indoors because of bad weather. I used a bicycle pump with flexible end to squirt the powder up into a tiny hole in the eaves where the wasps came in. You will need to have a quick getaway when you apply this stuff (as the wasps will be really upset with you) and a few days later seal the hole with clear silicone. I saw the canisters in B&Q for 0.50 - Nippon Ant Killer Powder made by Vitax Ltd. Be careful if up a ladder and wear plenty of clothes, gloves etc.
