change door handles

how do you change door handles on internal doors? is it easy or do you need a joiner? also can you have different handles on different sides - eg silver one side and gold on the other?

its easy,undo the screws and put a new one on.

aNearly all modern door handles are the same design, as Norman says very easy to fit.

you can have different ones each side but you can only buy them in sets of 2 handles, one for each side.
