door chime, which rings when door opened

Can anyone suggest naything that might be suitabel.
I have a 2 year old son who can open our UPVC front door with ease. Yesterday he got out and ran off, luckily he shouted as he did it.
The door has a handle on the inside but a yale lock outside, it has a sliding bolt at the top but as my boyfriend can be called out on emergancy day or night I know he wont always realise its locked til he pulls it hard or may forget to lock it again.
Id like to have a warning bell if our son should try and get out again, just in case.
Ive seen the old shop style door bells which ring but was wondering if there may be something smaller, preferably battery powered that I may use instead
Has anyone got any suggestions?
