Did anyone have any unusal or strange collections as a kid? Mine was rubbers or should i say erasers !

Whaddya mean, 'as a kid'? I still do collect daft things. I have over 200 ballpoint pens - the ones with advertising slogans and stuff on that you either buy as souvenirs or that companies give away as promo items.

When my sis was a kid, she collected bus tickets!!!

i collected elastic bands that we found in the street and made them into huge rubber balls, lots of kids did, the postman used to drop loads.

I've married a postman. The bands are everywhere.

I made rubber balls from elastic bands as well, great fun!! and made balls from silver paper and waited for it to be collected by the Scouts on Bob a Job week, Probably considered a bit sad now!!

HA HA Pollianna I collected rubbers aswel and i was always too shy to say it so i said erasers cos one of the older kids made a comment but i didnt get it!!!
