I have a Kodak tripod quick release platform which has cracked, it is plastic and I would like to know the best adhesive to fix the two parts together. Whenever I purchase super glue to do various repairs, it never seems to work on the material I am repairing. The repair doesn't require any load bearing, it is mainly just to hold the two parts together. I have tried to buy a replacement platform but have had no joy, hence the repair.

Try Araldite. That seems to stick most things. Try to clamp the two pieces together while the glue is setting.
Hi rebcs
Try a visit to your local plumbers merchants, and buy some SOLVENT WELD CEMENT. It's what they use to "weld" plastic pipes together. I've used it to mend a plastic shower fitment and it's still holding.
Good luck

Thanks dilligaf & fbg40 for your answers, much appreciated
Try Evo Stik impact adhesive but if you do make sure you mate the two surfaces precisely first time or you'll never get them apart again.
