Can it get any worse?

I got home last night to find a small leak at the top of the stairs, I phoned the landlord and he said that he was sending out a plumber, he did and within an hour the ceiling had fallen through. We had to evacuate the property as there was rat poison falling out the roof from the attic (when we moved in there was rats and we hadn't been told) there are rats the size of cats now running about my house, there is insulation all down my stairs, and water pouring everywhere! I had to give my Daughter back to her dad as I couldn't obviously keep her, I phoned the landlord and demanded a hotel, he paid and we checked in whilst arguing all the way. When we got in the room, he told me to "shut my f*cking mouth" so I went ballistic and told him to leave. This is all after my worst day ever at work and me nearly quitting! He walked out about midnight and I fell asleep. He walked back in about 2am and got back into bed and we were ok this morning but I'm furious still. The landlord by all rights (according to the estate agents) does NOT have to relocate or pay for any accommodation, and has advised us not to pay this months rent and just leave. The only place available (with our letting agent) is in an area I used to live with my ex Husband but my Fiance went mad saying "why do I want to move back there so quickly" as I used to live in the same street with my ex about 5 years ago!!!! Grrrrrr I feel that I'm about to have a nervous breakdown and I really cant cope with much more! On top of that, work is still being a pain in the @rse! Advice please!

I cant get over that your landlord doesnt have to help pay for an hotel, also you being pregnant too? Have you contacted your local council they might be able to put you in temporary accommodation or help in some way.
Hope you told your as$ of a boss what happened and you still managed to come into work, cos i know i wouldnt of.
Work would have been the least of my priorites.
About your partner speaking to you like that, not that im excusing it but maybe he was in a lot os stress like you and didnt mean it, things can be said in anger.

Council cant help my arse. Get on the phone to shelter. the council always tell you that stuff. You are pregnant and have a child already, this means they have a duty to house you. Be that providing deposits etc but really they can put you in temporary accommodation until you get a house. Because you work you will be expected to pay some of the costs of b&b or other temp accommodation but you are entitled to the help.
Call them, they will also be able to help regarding the state of your current house.

When we got evicted the council were reluctant to do anything until I had packed my house up, put all the stuff in storage and was literally on the street, then I got my placement.
Its a stressful time and i can see why I shouted at you at that moment. All though not acceptable. However, if he treats you like this all the time maybe you need to think about what you are doing with him. As a voice of experience, it only got worse for me.
