MY friends child enjoys drinking his milk out of a curly plastic straw. However it has recently started looking a bit manky but is a nightmare to clean. Does anyone have any experience or tips in how to thoroughly clean a curly straw ?

Well one could buy a new one, however I have no idea but if it were me I would get some Milton and pour that through it and then perhaps some salt grains to agitate any dirt and then rinse again with Milton or any sterlising solution (or perhaps leave it in overnight)
not sure, but how about a pipe cleaner??
They do special cleaners for straws. But I'd say a pipe cleaner would do just as well
