Creating a picture file from a MS Word file
3 Answers
Hi, I have a sentence from a Word file that I need to save as a picture. The reason is uses an unusual font that when read on most peoples computers will not show the original font and so I lose the effect. I have tried saving it to paint by using the print screen function and then cropping it and have done the same with Adobe Photoshop Elements but of course it loses some quality by turning it into a picture. I do not believe there is a way to embed the font into the document (Word document or PDF) so how can I get the best possible quality image? All suggestions gratefully received.

1. Choose "Tools" then "Options".
2. When the "Options" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the "Save" tab.
3. Check "Embed TrueType fonts".
4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
Alternatively, you could use a program like PrimoPDF (Free: http://www.primopdf.com/) to convert your document to a PDF format, viewable on any PC.
Another option would be to type your sentence into a photo editor like PhotoShop or PaintShopPro and then save the image in a high-quality format.
Hope this helps
