Hi encee, I use Soda Crystals as a de-greaser. Less than One pound for a packet. Get it in the supermarket, it should be next to the washing powder/dishwashing stuff. You can use it for lots of de-greasing jobs. You can add it to your washing machine if washing greasy overalls etc. Add it to your washing up bowl to clean greasy tiles or cookers. Use it to clean dirty chip pans by soaking in a strong solution. It's really good. I use it all the time.

i have soda crystals how much do i use and can it be used straight on tiles and thank you
You don't use it straight, as it is a powder.
You put very hot water in a washing up bowl, add a squirt of washing up liquid, and a good dollop of soda crystals. Then use a cloth, dipped in the mix and squeezed out.
white spirit is also good
Cillit Bang - quick squirt, leave a few moents. Wipe off - no elbow grease required. Magic.

Absolute best thing I have ever used is dish washer tablet disolved in very hot water - absolutely brilliant - I believe that biological washing powder works very well too, I have used that to clean the bath and the shower with great success.
