What is the best way to repaint kitchen cupboard doors?

Depends what they are made of. If melamine (i think) then you'll need to get a primer otherwise the paint won't 'take'. I just glossed some once and they looked ok. Maybe try glossing on an inconspicous bit on the inside, or even on the top of the cupboard. Paint and grain is supposed to be good, but depends what effect you want. Best of luck.
