Advice re shower pumps please

Hello I had a leaking mixer shower and after taking advice, I not only replaced the shower but i ripped out the whole en suite cubicle back to the studded walls re boarded re tiled and re plummed the thing. I have fitted a new shower tray and nice "Triton" with large fixed head and a hose . All very nice BUT not a lot of pressure!. The shower has a new dedicated cold feed direct from the large water tank in the loft and the hot comes from the top of the hot water tank. The offset connecters at the back of the mixer had check valves which restrict the flow if its strong so i removed them. The cubicle shares half a box with the hot tank/airing cupboard (new build) so the pipework is handy and there is power handy. SO after all that is a shower pump in order?? The "Triton" will run up to 5bar from 0.5 bar. I would love to have an invigourating shower rather than the dribble at present. What are the "issues" withe fitting a shower pump? Many thanks Chris
