Rose wines for christmas

We have some guests over for christmas/boxing day lunch and would like a collection of medium rose wines for their consumption. Has anyone any good suggestions for �5-�10 a bottle choices,

Hi: We like white grenache and white zinvandel - both ros� - but not in quite as an expensive bracket as you mention.

Here in the U.S., I've been impressed with the quality of selected Australian wines... in your price range a good rose' is Bremerton Racy Rose (About $17 US), a touch of raspberry and strawberry overtones, but certainly not cloying. Another Aussie product that my friends have taken a liking to is Stoneleigh Marlborough Pinot Noir Rose'... slightly sweeter at aobut $19 U.S.

The white zinfandel is great and was recommended to me by an AB. Nice and sweet.

Fetzer - Syrah Rose, it is about 6.99 from Tesco and is really a nice Rose that is easy to drink with or without food.

Also recommend the Chapel Down vineyard - world beating quality wines - they have a rose now - http://www.chapeldownwines.co.uk/shop/ bit more maybe than you have suggsted spending but my goodness you'll get a good wine for the money!

There are 400+ wineries in the UK now producing so much more in quality than the dreadful stuff that used to pass as wine from the UK 30 years ago.

hi a really lovely Rose wine is the Californian Roundhill White Zinfandel.
Really light and refreshing!! i dont think you can buy it in the supermarket but you can buy it from the link below for �7.76 per bottle!! or maybe try a specialist wine shop. i get mine from a shop called Chez Vin in Otley, W.Yorks... really delicious!!
