Spiders are taking over my garden!

I cant even go out side on my patio as they are everywhere. Even on my window outside i can see 3 of them.I have sprayed bug killer everywhere but with no luck.I cant go for anything to poisonous as i have a cat that goes out there. How can i get rid of them?

Hi Tallulah please don't try to kill the spiders, try to think of them as a vital and natural insecticide, just think how many flies we'd have if there were no spiders!
How big are they? If they are money spider size, chances are they have just hatched and will gradually disperse, if they are bigger they are probably garden spiders, either way they are harmless. I know its difficult if you have a phobia (if thats the case) i used to be a bit phobic around slugs - sounds silly now, still can't stand them but got used to them cos I like being in the garden so much

Don't be so daft , they are outside doing you or your cat no harm , what do you think they are going to do attack you ??? If you didn't have a cat that killed the birds the sparrows and wrens would eat them from your windowsills .... problem solved ..get rid of the cat .....
