Washing is OK, but drying takes for ever and things don't come out as soft as in any of my old standalone dryers. It's an Indesit WIDL102, btw, so don't go there. I'll be investing in a separate dryer again this year, now that I have space for one again.
I once had an Indesit washer/dryer which broke down just before the guarantee ran out. A man came out to look at it, and stood there talking about horse racing until it got to 5 o'clock. He then announced that he had to go! I complained the following Monday, by which time the guarantee'd run out - and it never got put right! Since then, I've always bought separate washers and dryers, and certainly not of the previous make.
Have Hotpoint wd420 at the moment about 4 years old and seems to be leaving marks on clothes.Have looked at reviews for quite a few makes, not many good ones for all brands.Space is the issue no room for both.Still unsure what to purchase Mielle look good but you could buy two maybe three machines for same and they would last as long as one Mielle I would think.Still thanks for all your input.
