Bathroom Painting not a good idea?
In our new home the bathroom is half tiled half wallpapered! we are suffering from mould in the bathroom even with the window open all day. We remove the mould but it eventually comes back. The plan is to eventually tile, in the meantime i would like to fit an extractor, strip the wallpaper, fill in the cracks and Paint the bathroom with an anti-condensation / anti-mould paint. My housemate (who believes he knows everything) says this will look terrible, will take ages to do, will smell for a long time and will make the eventual tiling more difficult to do. Is there any truth to his comments? especially about making tiling more difficult?
