We want to remove old vinyl floor covering from a concrete floor. Any ideas on how we can do it ourselves,please?

hi there, weve not long purchased our own house and had to remove vinyl tiles from one room and lino from the kitchen, unfortunately its nearly all down to elbow grease and some sweat. we used a long handled tile scraper that we bought from b&q for around �15, saves a lot of bending down but is still hard goin at times. any residue adhesive that is left can be either scraped off or removed with tile cleaner similar to that which you use to removed excess grout after laying tiles. happy scraping
