looks like some kind of flowering spring bulb such as muscari but I cant quite tell. Anyway, if I am correct then you can just gently dig them up and you will find a bulb on the end of the shoots. As long as you remove the bulb then they will not grow back.
My mum reckons that it could be bluebells................
Yup, I'd go for Bluebells. If you had soil bought in prior to turfing, that's probably where they came from.......if so, be prepared for other possible surprises as spring progresses! If you didn't, then they would have lain in the ground as bulbs since last spring. Carefully dig em out - they can go down quite a way and break of before you get to them tho.

we never put any soil down we just laid the turf on the soil we already had, we did find a few bulbs when raking the garden but thought we had removed them all obviously not... ty all for your help! x
Definitely look like bluebells to me!
Probably bluebells. You can always replant if it is in the wrong place. Best W ishes.
