When You get a new Larder style fridge do you have to let it stand a while after it has been delivered to let the refrigerants settle before plugging it in and switching it on?
If so how long for ? or does this just apply to fridge freezers?

Last time I bought a new larder fridge the delivery man advised me to let it stand a while. I can't remember how long though, about 4 hours I think.

yeah same as cheekyC I had been advised by the delivery guy to let it stand for 4 hours switched on too
