I thought they were dyed green
I`m quite sure they are dyed also.
Well apparently you can get green xsanths....Shamrock and Froggy are supposed to be good examples. I also asked a florist today and they confirmed this.
Shamrock is the large lime green crysanthemum and Froggy is the small pom pom one.
You can get both plants from Sarah Raven's Kitchen & Garden. www.sarahraven.com
They are 7.50 a plant
Thanks Batterseadog I didn`t know you could get green flowers. Buy the way If you live in Battersea SW11 I lived in Southolm ST during WW2.
There are more and more green flowers coming on to the market, some pansys and heliborus (although these are not the vibrant green of the Shamrock and sometimes they do change towards yellows or creams). Email the plant people and keep asking for them. Enough requests and companies will react.
str; I don't live in Battersea but I'm there all the time. A dog fosterer.
