PS - liked the word list - one notable omission was glaikit, in daily use North of the Border - implies "the lights are on, but there's nobody home" - as in "those glaikit so-and-sos in Westminster" - another phrase in daily use North of the Border.
For a more complete understanding of (Glaswegian) Scots English I recommend 'The Patter' and 'The Patter: Another Blast'. Come complete with social comment, local history and some brilliant "working" examples.
