Hi, I was searching through AnswerBank yesterday and found someone had replied to a solar heating question. They said they had experience of a Thermal Store for collecting solar energy! Does anyone know how to construct a Thermal Storage Unit?

It is generally a very large water tank, well-insulated, that retains as much of heat extracted from the solar energy and is used when the dwelling demands heat.
Not something you generally construct yourself.
Dick Strawbridge on BBC "its not easy being green "showed the construction .In a greenhouse,a fan drew hot air from the top and fed it into a hardcore filled pit.The stored heat kept the night temperature up.If you google the programme title you'll get more info
