Green Ponds
2 Answers
We have just moved into a property with a large pond. It is really murky & green. We have managed to get the pump & UV filter working-will this suffice on its own to clear the pond? I have read a number of questions on this site relating to this & have also found items such as pond vacuums, pellets & natural chemicals that you can put in ponds. Has anyone tried any of these & do they actually work?
thanks

For really small ponds you can buy mini-bales in Garden centres which have pet stores/acquarian suppliers in them. If you Google "Straw bales for clearing algae in ponds" or something similar I'm sure it will explain how it works.
