can you use china in the oven

I want to avoid cooking n the oven and then transferring to my good china. I think i can cook with the china but need to be reassured

Does it say 'Oven Proof' on the underside of your china? If it doesn't, then most likely it's not. Avoid ruining your good china by not putting them in the oven.

Pyrex dishes are durable and can go from oven and microwave to table, and most of them are decent looking.

If you use good china which isn't oven proof, you also run the risk of burning, cracking, or discolouring your china. Not worth it ! I agree with 'figure'.
