I planted a magnolia tree years ago it has yet to bloom what could be the problem. From Southfield Michigan.

Hello! It depends on the variety you planted, some take many years to flower. I think the earliest is Magnolia Stellata. I usually give mine a generous mulch of ericaceous compost in spring and autumn, and a good feed of potash. Magnolias do not enjoy being moved so I would avoid that if you are able.Hope this may be of help.
