New flat bliss!!!

Well, I've spent my first night in my new flat (renting, I'm only poor) and I have to say I'm loving it! It's soooo warm! There is hot water on tap, and I just had the greatest shower ever! :O) My old flat had economy 7, and was NEVER warm, I spent the winter freezing, so that's a great change! I'm sitting here surrounded by chaos, boxes and bin bags everywhere, my laptop resting on a box full of books, ashtray on the floor...lol I still have to go back to old flat to clean it (Urgh....) this evening, but I think it won't take much more than a couple hours. Then I'll be all free of it! Even my cat approves of the change! She's spent all afternoon sitting on the windowsill above the radiator! lol I'm happy and thought I'd share! xxx

Oh, and of course, a BIG BIG BIG thank you to my new favourite ABer, Gonzo, who so kindly helped me move (Poor thing even had to dismantle a wardrobe on the street as it wouldn't fit in his car!). xxx

I hate economy 7, I spend all winter freezing because it seems to blast out heat in morning then when I come home at night no heat left. Then now if theres one really cold day I cant just turn heat up as sods law it gets hot just as nice weather comes back.

i like your priorities, get the laptop up and running first ;-) for me its always stereo on then all the other entertainment systems, then food, then leave the rest to sort itself out1

4Get, my old flat was seriously a piece of crap! The Economy 7 never even worked, I always had to have an electric heater on as it was so cold, and of course, it cost me a bomb! :O(
No heater in the bedroom or bathroom ,believe it or not.

The first thing I did was plug the TV and stereo in and hang my paintings! lol all my clothes are in bin bags in the bedroom, and I have to climb over them to reach the bed...lol There is no food anywhere....Last night I had an "instant" hot dog microwave thing for dinner, and I went to use the microwave in my old flat! lol

Oh, and it could become our HQ, where we start plotting evil deeds....
