Cat uses bath!

Why is it my cat has taken to going to the loo in my bath ? I was astounded when he burst into my bathroom (I was sat on the loo at the time) and jumped in the bath and squatted over the plug hole and had a wee ! He has done it several times since and I had to laugh as I was so amazed, after all its better than him doing it on the carpet or behind some piece of furniture, but why wont he cry to go out ? I think its quite clever of him.....anyone elses cat do this ?

My cat also went through a stage of using the bathroom. Just one of those things I suppose. Will only ever now go outside, wont even use litter tray!

Be thankful it's only a wee. I had a cat that used to do the full monty in the bath. At least I think it was the cat...

I have three cats and one of mine uses the [ plug hole ] for his wee, the others use the litter tray.What makes me laugh is Rooney never misses the plug hole better than some men who use the toilet lol.g.

Or cat would only do it if locked in and unable to get outside.

That includes, as delboy calls it, the full monty! An intelligent but surprising choice of places I thought. Easy to clean and disinfect, but considering cats like to scratch and bury, not what you would expect.

One of my cats used the bath as his toilet on a regular basis. Probably because he knows it's the toilet area and cant use the loo. But take heed, my Dad's cat (a looooooong time ago) did use the loo, but sadly came to a bad end when he lost his balance while peeing unattended.

if i was a bit lax in changing the litter, my monsta used to poo in the bathroom, on the lino, right next to the toilet. i couldnt get cross at him cos it was my fault for not changing the litter. but it used to crack me up, that he pood by the loo, almost like he knoo what the loo was for
