Mosquitoes
Does anyone know of any way to keep mosquitoes away. I read about eating Marmite for a week before travelling abroad, has anyone tried this or something like it? Any help appreciated.

I have also heard about the Avon Skin So Soft and will trying this out this weekend as I am camping. This apparently gets used by the Army and you can order it online.
I have tried the Avon Skin so Soft and it definately works. If you google it, apparently it is a bit of an urban legend and there is no science behind it at all.
Put it this way - usually if 2 of us go away, I will get bitten alive and my partner will get none. Since I discovered the Skin So Soft, I have had about 3 bites per holiday as opposed to about 30 before.
It's only the stuff in the greeny coloured spray that works, none of the perfumed stuff - far cheaper than mossie repellant I was buying from Boots before :-)

This one.
hiya, also another thing is that mossies love smells so don't wear after shave, use unscented deo, shampoo, hand cream or fabric softener on clothes etc....there are plenty of products to keep mossies off that smell foul!...you can use a plug with talbets for your room which worked a treat...if you can get one a mossie nets for your bed which you must tie in a knot when not in bed or the little varmits will get in while you're out.....
