came back from the pictures tonight,mother in law had been baby sitting.went into bedroom to put baby to bed,looked up and the loft hatch had moved...like somebody had been up there! on closer inspection the one in main hallway has scratch marks on the wall leading into it...weird or what...any ideas comments etc.....oh by the way we live in a top floor flat...no lock on our flat door...but we have a dog.....

The wind can sometimes move the loft hatch, hun. Unfortunately, someone was once staying in our house, and looked up to see the covering completely removed. On closer inspection, a face was peering down at her! I've never heard screams like it!!

about two years ago there was a story in the national news about a homeless person who had managed to survive for ages in a loft such as yours...he listened out for movements in the flat below and came out to forage in the day...might be a good idea to get a lock on the flat door as your dog may be too friendly and trusting to alert you to a possible intruder. It's probably just a workman who's caused the scratches, though, everything seems more spooky on a night like this...hope you are ok and have a good nite's sleep

Not sure psychick - but it was the face of an elderly lady. It's nothing new to me. We have spooks all over the place!
Don't you worry, jay. the scratches could've come from where the covering was blown about and scraped against the edge of the hole. x

O I agree -it could have been the presence moving it.

I dont jest as I am a firm believer.I suffered greatly when i lost my Nannie -an it has taken me years to get over it -I've had the usaul feathers and I know its her cos I havent ha any for the other recenly departed who we have ben told is still not accepting which i believe.
Howver I digress -i was really not getting on at all and one night I went to bed and lay own an 'someone' blew on my nexk.I wasnt frightened at all -so i though has to be the pillows -so arranged them -nothing.Told Mum next day and she said that was what my Grandad used to do to me when i was wee -thats why i wasnt afraid and that was his way of saying move on and I firmly believe in that and I have accepted it -very comforting.

The other one -no danger -I am with him all the way i would be so p!ssed off I wouldnt want to be sending anything down to anyone -i'll get it one day -soon hopefully when the court case is over !!
