Reducing reflection on LCD screen

The other day an ABer - frostyspecs - posted a question asking if anyone had any ideas to stop the reflection/sunlight obscuring the view on the flip out LCD screen/view finder on a HD Aiptek cam corder. Like frostyspecs I waited for an idea because I have the same problem. As no-one seems to have a solution my question is how do other makes of cam corders with flip out screens deal with this problem? Are their any accessories or matt films to apply to LCD screens?

This is a common problem as anyone using any type of LCD screen in sunlight will find.

What you need is a screen hood such as those listed below. Some camera manufacturers make ones just for their cameras Like Panasonic and Canon.
