I've just recently paid a lot of money to have decking laid in my garden. Unfortunately, no weedkiller nor plastic sheeting was laid underneath and I'm now finding that grass and weeds are coming up. Do you know if there is a weedkiller that can safely be used over the decking that will cause no damage or will I forever be pulling out weeds?

Go back to the people who laid it and complain. Did they ask you if you were prepared to pay for sheeting before the job was done? I should try a little test area out of sight with a weedkiller, I don`t think it will stain woodwork.
spraying the decking will not get to all of the weeds and most will be wasted. Just remove a few planks so that you can get below and then spray weed killer.

The ground should have been covered before the decking went on otherwise you will have this problem constantly. Check with the people who built it as this should have at least been recommended by them.
