I have grown a beautifil pineapple lily in a large pot on my patio this year. It has four flower stems which have turned to huge seed heads. I wondered if its best to leave them on the plant or cut them off. Any advice will b gratefully received. I have searched the internet but can only find growing instructions

Decrease the watering, let the foliage and seedheads die down naturally ,remove the dead heads and leaves keep very dry in a frost free place over winter, start into life again in Spring by repotting and watering.

Thanks for your reply. I have planned to move it into my greenhouse for protection over the winter. Hopefully next year it will be as lovely as this year.
