There is a new carpet shampoo by Bissell specifically for removing pet smells.

sprinkle bicarbonate of soda on them, leave it on for a little bit then hoover off, also try washing the dogs bed a bit more, they get smelly ever so quickly and the smell transfers to the dog!

Well you need to VAX the carpet and then get your dogs bathed as well to get rid of there smell.....
