Habitat Tzaria Tableware - discontinued

Does anyone know where this china (porcelain) can be obtained? If not, anyone know who makes / made it for Habitat so I can track down bits which have been broken or are missing from the collection???

Thanks adamhornsby but I have, of course, already tried that! They can't and say that discontinued items go to a warehouse in Manchester but it is ex-directory for address, phone and e-mail, hence my request to answerbank. Other suggestions please!

Try companies like 'Chinafind' for discontinued china & porcelain dinner services. They advertise in the country home type magazines.

Have you tried Ikea? I know it sounds daft, but Ikea own Habitat so they may have a similiar product line?

IKEA DO NOT own Habitat. They NEVER have done or never will do. Where ever you got that idea it is wrong. I know I work for IKEA and Habitat is not part of the company.

Um ... wrong: IKEA's owners DO also own HABITAT - though it might be that the UK stores are still independent but I doubt that: Quote from business section of a Swedish Newspaper. "The family of Ingvar Kamprad, the Swedish billionaire founder of the Ikea discount furniture chain, is thinking about ditching the high-end Habitat furniture and design chain." ... interesting definition of "high-end"...

As a design manager from that business area I am absolutely sure about 2 things: IKEA and Habitat DO source from the same Far East suppliers - simply because Habitat's sales are way too small to get decent conditions (= low prices). They HAVE to enter their purchasing talks with an opening line like "We, Habitat, part of the mighty Ikea brand demand you to give us a decent price..." - that's just the way you do it.

Secondly, from a brand perspective, it would be very stupid if IKEA sold identical products under both brands.

So I think we are simply out of luck when it comes to finding those Tzaria cups... and maybe that's good. As much as I love the design, the quality was appalling: I showed some Tzaria pieces to a designer from a big (EU) china manufacturer. Her response was "they SELL these??? - this is stuff we would throw in the dumpster right away" (90% of the pieces I have a actually warped or have glazing errors - plus, Tzaria chips easily which indicates that they have taken some manufacturing shortcuts to save money)

Well said K&H - Ikea bought Habitat from the receivers when it was put into administration (by Conran) many years ago. Quality and design went downhill from there.

Hello, I have 6 bowles, 8 plain dishes and 16 dessert dishes of Habitat Tzaria collection (bought in Italy in 1999).
I have also a coffee set (6 cups) and tea set (same number of pieces) plus milk and sugar cases.
Moreover I have 2 large dish and a big bowl for salad of the same collection
I'd like to complete my collection (with other bowles and plain dishes).
I'm in Italy (sorry for my bad english).

Hello, I'm from Rome and you'll sure forgive my horrible english.
I have a complete set of Habitat Tzaria tableware (6 bowles, 8 plain dishes and 16 dessert dishes).
I have a salad bowl and 2 large dishes.
Moreover I have a tea and a coffee set (6 and 6 cups) with milk and sugar bowls.
I'd like to complete my collection (with other plain dishes and bowles) or sell my pieces.
