Hotpoint making metalic rattling sound

We have a few years old Hotpoint washing machine, that we were given, and today's it started making a metalic rattling sound during a fast spin. I thought it was the pans rattling on the drainer, but its not, it seems to be coming from behind the machine. Any ideas?

problem solved! appears that it is not metalic. its some glass in the next cupboard!
