.......still keeping time to come on chatterbank :)
Hopefully this will help you to have that sparkling home you've always wanted but without the effort......lol.
10 cleaning cheats! how to maintain an air of cleanliness in your home with minimum effort
1.Clean the taps on the bath and sink when visitors come so that the bathroom looks clean without having to clean the actual bath.
2.Sit where a guest might sit and see for yourself what they can see - clean those bits first and the rest later, if you have time.
3.Keep your duster and polish by the door; then when people pop in you can grab them before answering the door, exclaiming, 'I was just about to dust the lounge, but do come in.' That way, they forgive any dust they see, assuming they are interrupting you getting to it.
4.Make sure your machines are all running - the washer, dryer and dishwasher - that way your house sounds like you are busy, even if you are taking an afternoon nap!
5.Rub a bit of washing-up liquid behind your ears; when your other half smells it, he will think that you've been doing loads of cleaning and feel guilty.
6.If you rinse out the bath and sink every time you use it, it will stay nice and clean. Alternatively, just pull the shower curtain across!
7.In the lounge wipe over your TV screen, which picks up loads of dust because of the static- it's the first thing people will notice when they walk into the lounge.
8.In the kitchen a clean sink and a clean kettle look good - hide everything else in the cupboards.
9.Give all your mirrors a polish, especially bathroom ones!
10.Use those blue loo blocks in your toilets - they smell fresh and stop people seeing too much of the bowl below the water line - great for unexpected visitors
